Mojo Monday: Dreams

As a teacher, I have a special affinity for colored chalk, and as crafter, I like to get out my old pan pastel chalks for this technique.  The background was created by randomly applying patches of color with the applicator included with the chalks, stamping, and dry embossing.  It also looks great with heat embossing.  My go-to ink is Memento Tuxedo Black, but it's time for a new pad, so I tried Tuxedo Black in the Memento Luxe version and found that it didn't stamp as evenly as the regular version.  The softening effect of the vellum helped to distract from the unevenness.  This sheet of vellum happens to have glittery speckles.  I also downsized the panels  in the sketch to let more of the butterflies show.

The stamps are Verve's Sparkly Dreams with matching dies, and the diagonal piece is from Little Inker Designs.
